The Stewardship pillar of the University's Strategic Plan, Forging Our Future, Building From Strength, calls on us to "work aggressively to achieve the University's goals while moving away from an additive model that places stress on the human, environmental, and financial resources of the University." The UR Better initiative is one of the ways the University is responding to this call.
UR Better seeks to reimagine and redesign administrative processes to be simpler, smarter and more efficient. Through these efforts, we hope to save faculty and staff time now spent on inefficient administrative processes, and thereby increase the time they have available to support students and advance the educational mission of the University.
